It was a normal afternoon for Bec and her husband Andrew, 35, from Bendigo, Victoria, who had just finished putting their two children to bed and were having a conversation in their bedroom before going to sleep when Andrew unexpectedly passed away.
Bec told The Morning Show that the news came as “a massive shock” and that “he was a fit and healthy 35-year-old man.”

This condition, which affects the heart muscle and can result in sudden cardiac death, was a contributor to Andrew’s illness.
As a matter of fact, Andrew had been examined for AVC after learning that his brother had the condition four years earlier.
Since he had passed all of the standard tests, however, there was no requirement for him to undergo an MRI or an angiography.
Bec detailed the ways in which she attempted to cope with the unexpected death of her spouse.
As a result of the unfortunate event, Bec decided to turn her story of tragedy into a message of hope that she wanted to both pay respect to her husband and generate much-needed funding in order to obtain additional information and possibly a solution for the condition.
The couple had frequently discussed the possibility of launching a fashion label together in the past.
Bec has established the AVC brand, which is a clothing and accessories store that donates a portion of its revenues to The Heart Foundation.
AVC carries a diverse range of apparel and accessories.
