A Perth babysitter admitted to more than 100 charges, including rapping a kid and sexually abusing many other children.
Last week Jareth Thomas Harries-Markham appeared in Perth Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to 141 charges.
Originally he was charged with 221 child sex offences, including numerous instances of sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 13.
Multiple counts of indecently recording and indecently dealing with a kid were also filed.
The rest of the charges against the 24-year-old have been dropped.
Harries-Markham allegedly committed his offences between July 2020 and August of last year while he was employed as a babysitter, according to police.
Police added in a statement at the time that “it is alleged that the individual marketed his services through an internet babysitting service.”
On August 22, following a police raid, Harries-Markham was taken into custody at his Bennett Springs residence.
At the time, police disclosed that they also found many gel blasters and “edged weapons” in addition to child exploitation materials.
On September 27, Harries-Markham will appear before the West Australian Supreme Court.
