Christian Wilkins has responded to critics who object to the fact that he wears gowns by defending his own fashion choices.
The actor, who is 27 years old, stated on Friday that he does not have time to respond to the “disgusting” comments.
“If you met me and attacked my personality, it would hurt me, but if you think I’m wrong for wearing a dress because I have a doodle, you’re an idiot,” he told The Courier Mail.
‘Not only do I think it’s homophobic, but it’s misogynistic. It’s this notion of ‘I’m a man and I’m dressing like a woman and therefore that makes me less.
It’s this idea that because I’m a man but I’m looking like a lady, it somehow makes me less.
‘That’s a disgusting notion. It’s 2022, whatever’ he added.
According to Christian, who told the publication that he first started wearing dresses when he was approximately ten years old, he feels absolutely stunning in frocks.
“There is nothing in the world more lovely than a person who feels beautiful in the dress that they are wearing.
He said that it simply spreads throughout your body.
At the Logies in June, the socialite and reality personality drew criticism for attending the event in a white gown with a plunging neckline.
After that, he responded angrily to a Twitter user who had mocked him for the outfit he had chosen to wear.
The Twitter user @SaraVic333, who wishes to remain anonymous, stated in a tweet that wearing women’s clothing by men is not normal and then added, “STOP normalising this bulls**t!!!”
Christian’s response to this critique consisted of making fun of the hysterical responses that some people have to the fact that males prefer to dress up.
