The tragic news that one of the most well-liked personalities on Gogglebox Australia passed away over the weekend has been shared with fans of the show today.
This morning, entertainment reporter Peter Ford broke the news live on-air on 3AW that Di Kershaw, one-half of the couple Mick and Di, who has been on the show since season one, had passed away at the age of 76 after a brief battle with throat cancer.
Di had been a cast member on the show since season one.
They were Indigenous art dealers who resided in Sydney and had been married for more than 50 years when they were featured on Gogglebox Australia.
Di and her husband Mick had been married for more than 50 years.
Since it began airing in 2015 as a co-production between Foxtel and Ten, the show provides viewers with a glimpse inside typical Australian households as its participants watch and comment on the week’s most significant and contentious television moments.
Di was unquestionably one of the most well-liked characters on the show since she enjoyed drinking white wine and was never afraid to voice her opinion.
