A father was criticised for using children’s leashes when he was out walking with his quintuplets, all of whom were five years old at the time.
The father, who goes by the name Jordan Driskell and is 31 years old, defended his use of the device in a video that was published on Instagram one month ago.
The fact that Driskell and his wife Brianna, both of whom are 34 years old, utilise child leash backpacks makes it difficult for them, according to them, to keep an eye on their children while they are out running errands.
However, users on social media stated that only animals should be restrained in this manner, and many were perplexed by the fact that the father had used the device.
There has been a lot of discussion around the use of child leashes.
One paediatrician shared with Good Housekeeping in 2018 that as the father of three children, he had firsthand experience with the speed, impetuosity, and unpredictability that children can exhibit.
On the other hand, Mr. Driskell uploaded a second video to his well followed TikTok account, in which he expressed his fears on the possibility of entanglement or choking.
