A baby’s body was found in a home in the western part of Sydney after a welfare check had been conducted.
On Monday morning, around ten o’clock, the emergency services were called out to a residence in the Doonside neighbourhood.
A nine-month-old kid who was discovered by emergency medical services unresponsive was sent to the hospital.
The youngster could not be brought back to life.
Officers from the Blacktown Police Area Command are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the boy, according to a spokesperson for the NSW Police.
The authorities have stated that no charges have been filed, but they are in the process of questioning the child’s parents.
Detectives specialising in forensic medicine are currently investigating a possible cause of death.
