Olivia Newton-John, who played Sandy in the film Grease, passed away on Monday at the age of 73, and her husband, John Easterling, has paid tribute to his late wife.
Her family, friends, and the fans of the Australian actress and singer were all taken aback by her passing.
Her spouse said the following in a post they shared on Instagram: “Our love for each other transcends our understanding.”
“Every day we expressed our gratitude for this love that could be so deep, so real, so natural. We never had to ‘work’ on it. We were in awe of this great mystery and accepted the experience of our love as past, present and forever.
“At Olivia’s deepest essence she was a healer using her mediums of song, of words, of touch.
“Even now, as her soul soars, the pain and holes in my heart are healed with the joy of her love and the light that shines forward.
“Our family deeply appreciates the vast ocean of love and support that has come our way.”

When Easterling made the announcement of his wife’s passing, he asked for memorial contributions to be sent to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, which was her charitable foundation.
Research conducted by the foundation is primarily concentrated on the development of cancer treatments that are derived from plants as well as other holistic and health-oriented approaches.
During this extremely trying time, we would like to respectfully request that everyone maintain the family’s privacy, he asked.
