The “unexpected” passing of an Australian woman last week has left her family and friends in a state of mourning.
Olyvia Cowley, from Gold Coast, passed away on a vacation island in Indonesia on Friday, although the circumstances surrounding her passing are unknown.
According to her TikTok, the 24-year-old woman moved to Bali after leaving her job and deciding to pursue a new path in life.
In the videos and photographs Ms. Cowley posted on TikTok, she appeared to be overjoyed with her new life in Bali. She posted movies and pictures of what she was doing near-constantly.
In April, she published a video on her website that served as documentation of the relocation. The film accompanied the following caption: “POV (Point Of View): You quit your job and move to Bali.”
In the video, she showed a range of images, including one from her trip, one of her making her way to her hotel room, and one of her relaxing by the pool.
Additionally, she uploaded pictures of herself having a good time with her friends and going out.
Following the passing of the 24-year-old woman, numerous people, including her distraught mother, have paid tribute to her on various social media platforms.
Christina Blakelock, the daughter’s grieving mother, posted a series of tributes to her daughter on her Facebook page, one of which included the words to ‘You Are the Reason’ by Calum Scott.
“This photograph represents my entire world…
Because I was carrying them within me, I felt every bit of the overwhelming love that I had for them.
She claimed in a post that she “experienced the overwhelming of a mother’s love from the age of 18.”
