Jaci Stephens has a soft spot in her heart for Virgin Atlantic.
When she flies, she has to get the 8A seat.
If she cannot occupy seat 8A, she will not travel on this flight.
If you want that seat, you’ll have to forget about her.
She also flies for other airlines, and unless you are a celebrity, you shouldn’t even think about asking her to switch seats because she also flies for those other airlines.
On a flight she took not long ago, the flight attendant asked her to switch seats so that two passengers could sit together.
Her girlfriend became angry as a result of her refusal to comply.
In addition, she travelled on a Boeing 787 operated by American Airlines, which features a business-class section in both the front and the rear of the aircraft.
Someone asked her to switch places with them from the front seat to the rear seat so that they could be near their young children.
Nope.
Sorry.
She explained why she wanted to be in the front facing the same direction as the pilot: “I want to be in the front facing the same direction as the pilot because if we are going to be put in the unfortunate position of having to run, I know who I want to follow at the front of the pack.” She wanted to face forwards.
The response of the father was not very positive:
“He was furious and started shouting at me, wishing me ill for the future if this were to ever happen to me, and then rushed off to the other side of the plane to attempt to encourage others to shift.” “He was outraged and started shouting at me.”
She didn’t get up for the celebrity until a member of the flight crew persuaded her repeatedly to do so.
