Christie Lee Kennedy is accused of following her husband down and running him over with his lover moments after learning about the affair.
The mother of two is then said to have gotten out of her car, pulled the mistress’s hair, and yelled “fat moll” at her before reportedly punching the mistress in the head.
In March of 2021, when Kennedy’s “world crashed,” she was 37 years old and had been married to David Larkin for almost nine years at the time.
According to the court, Kennedy saw her husband having a conversation with another woman, Zowie Noring, alongside the road in Wavell Heights, which is located in the northern part of Brisbane.
Jennifer O’Brien, a prosecutor for the crown, claims that Kennedy drove her BMW SUV towards them while travelling on the incorrect side of the road for an extended period of time.
O’Brien promises that the footage will demonstrate that the suspects were lined up before being hit and rolled off the bonnet.
“She did not make any effort to avoid or avoid hitting anything, nor did she seek to adjust her direction” (the pair).
“To put it plainly, the defendant ran them over with her car, which is a sizable and strong item,” the prosecutor said.
After having a conversation with Larkin for a few minutes, Noring heard a car “accelerating wildly.” When he looked up, he saw his wife’s BMW, which he recognised because of the customised licence plates.
“I remember waking up on the roadway,” he stated. “I don’t know how I got there.”
When Larkin looked over at his wife, O’Brien claims that she was pulling Noring by the hair and continuously striking her. This information comes from Larkin’s conversation with O’Brien.
Larkin suffered cuts and bruises to the head, arms, and legs, soreness in the ribs, and a dislocated finger.
Noring, received treatment for a variety of injuries, including those to the head, the abdomen, the arms, the thighs, and the ankles.
The trial is still ongoing.
