A man has been taken into custody in Warwick, which is located west of Brisbane, as a result of the emergency closure of roadways.
On Monday morning, at approximately 9:45 a.m., law enforcement officers went to a residence on Bisley Street in order to negotiate with the man.
Because it was believed that he was armed, people were cautioned against approaching him.
Residents of the surrounding neighbourhoods, including Tooth Street, Bracker Road, Bisley Street, and Cullen Street, were given the instruction to remain indoors and to avoid the area because of an emergency.
After some time had passed, the declaration was rescinded.
The individual was taken into custody without a incident.
More to come.
