It was the photograph that broke the hearts of people all across the world and showed how much love Queen Elizabeth’s great-granddaughter had for her granny.
Princess Charlotte, who is seven years old and the daughter of William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, was captured crying as she saw the casket of the Queen be moved from a canon carriage to a hearse after the funeral service at Westminster Abbey.
The youngest children of William and Kate, Charlotte and George, went to the burial, while their younger brother Louis stayed at home by himself. Louis is just four years old.
Charlotte appeared to be overcome by the gravity of the situation and the intensity of the tragic day, despite the fact that the other two small children maintained their composure throughout the ceremony.
The child’s mother, Kate, was seen trying to console the child as tears streamed down her face.
During the sad funeral service that took place at Westminster Abbey, Charlotte’s older brother George was seen wiping his eyes with a tissue.

George and Charlotte, along with their parents, walked side by side through the abbey as pallbearers brought the casket of the Queen into the building.
