Jill Farnham, the wife of musician John Farnham, has provided an update on her husband’s treatment after John Farnham went through a procedure that lasted for 12 hours.
According to the doctor who made the first diagnosis of mouth cancer in Farnham, he recently underwent surgery to have a tumour removed from his mouth and is currently in the healing phase.
Jill started off by saying that John’s rehabilitation from the operation he had for oral cancer a month ago is doing extremely well.
“His medical staff is very delighted with his improvement over the past month, and they have expressed their happiness to him.
A few of weeks ago, he was transferred from the intensive care unit to a standard ward at the hospital.
“Just that by itself was a tremendous step forwards.”
She reported that her partner had been admitted to a treatment centre, and she added that “everything seems to be progressing in the right manner.”
We are indebted to each and every excellent team of medical professionals in Victoria, and we cannot express our gratitude enough.
“Their commitment, expertise, and compassion were essential to the success of this endeavour.
Since the establishment of the weloveyoujohn.com.au website, we have been fortunate enough to be the recipients of tens of thousands of heartfelt letters.
“Being encircled by this much love and support has meant everything to all of us,” said the happy couple.
“Thank you,” was the closing phrase of the statement.
