Eyewitness Jordan, who was unknowingly captured on video the moment a woman was thrown from a rollercoaster, said he and his family are traumatised.
According to 7NEWS.com.au, only a small number of people were able to see what really happened.
While he was filming the ride, he and his sister Chloe were in the front carriage of the Rebel Coaster.
When the ride came around, it hit 26-year-old Shylah Rodden, who was carrying several people in the air.
Jordan said he has not slept since the incident.
He started recording the ride as his sister and his partner were riding it.
Then, he said, tragedy struck.
The footage he captured shows a woman standing by the ride’s tracks.
However, she didn’t see the carriage and its occupants screaming. According to Jordan, the woman remained silent as the ride hit her.
The footage he captured, which he referred to as lucky or unfortunate, was passed on to the police as they investigated the incident.
Shylah remains in hospital in a critical condition.
