In a suburb in Perth, residents who let their garbage bins get too foul could be fined up to $5000.
This comes after a new law was introduced that says that people in Victoria Park can be fined if their garden organics bin gets too foul.
According to Karen Vernon, the mayor of the suburb, the new law aims to make sure that people properly sort their garbage in their new bin.
She also said that the council would need to have the power to fine those who let their bin get too foul.
In response to the new law, angry residents have posted on social media about the “rubbish” move.
According to Vernon, the council might hire people to monitor the quality of the garbage in the area.
Some residents support the new law, saying that it’s time for people to do more with their garbage.
The law was introduced after the council decided to allow the third bin for garden organics, which includes grass clippings, leaves, and sticks.
The council is also planning on allowing residents to put food organics in their green bin.
