A former police officer went on a shooting and stabbing rampage at a pre-school in Thailand, killing over 30 people, including 23 children.
He was reportedly armed with a meat cleaver, a shotgun, and a pistol. He also shot and killed an eight-month pregnant woman and several adults inside the facility.

The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Khamrap, broke into the locked room and started stabbing the sleeping children.
Some of the victims were reportedly as young as two years old. He reportedly became agitated after learning that his child was not there.
After leaving the school, the suspect drove his white Toyota pickup truck and attacked other people as he fled. He then killed his wife and child before setting their house on fire.
According to reports, the gunman then killed himself. The incident has resulted in the deaths of 38 individuals, including the shooter.
The bodies of 24 children, three girls, and two adults were found inside the daycare center. It is regarded as the deadliest mass killing in the country’s history.
Local media reported that the gunman was fired from the police after failing a drugs test. A teacher who survived the attack said that the gunman pointed his weapon at her head, but she was able to escape by climbing over a wall.
According to reports, he was fired from the police force in January this year after he was caught with pills that contained caffeine and methamphetamine.
