In her first interview since entering the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia, Thattil opened up about her struggles with being gay and her childhood crushes.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Thattil said she felt like she had been trapped by her sexuality for a long time.
She revealed that she set her preferences for both men and women on a dating app, but when she received a message from a friend saying that someone had sent her a fake message, she changed her mind and started identifying herself as only being with men.
Thattil, who studied management and psychology, was named Miss Universe Australia in 2020.
