Since the tragic death of her husband, Australia Zoo founder Terri Irwin has been working incredibly hard to keep the facility running.
It’s been a blessing and a curse for her, as she juggles raising two children and running a commercial enterprise.
According to a well-placed source, Terri has been through a lot during her life. She has experienced both joy and sorrow, and she is considering her future after reaching the age of 60.
The source noted that due to the COVID border closures, she has been struggling financially.
Robert Irwin, the late Steve’s son, is reportedly pleading with Terri to transfer the Australia Zoo to him. Initially, it was planned that Bindi, the couple’s eldest child, would take ownership of the facility.
However, due to her young age and her husband, Chad Powell, she is currently focused on her daughter, Grace, who is only 1.
It’s also been reported that Bindi and her boyfriend, Chad, are planning on moving to Florida to be closer to their family. However, Robert is reportedly against the idea of selling the Australia Zoo.
According to the source, Robert is convinced that it’s time for him to take over the reins of the facility. He’s also reportedly not planning on selling the zoo when it’s time for Terri to retire.
