A brave mother in Brisbane fought off three men who broke into her home using a can of fly spray. Tiffany Kendon, 21, said she was getting ready to go to bed at around 10pm on Tuesday when she heard a loud bang. She then saw three men inside her Mount Gravatt home.
According to Tiffany, the men threatened her, her roommates, and her partner with a gun, a knife, and a baton. She said that they had a lot of screaming as they were being attacked. Fortunately, Tiffany was able to use a can of insect repellent to fend off the attackers.
Tiffany said that one of the men was on fire after she used her taser. The police are investigating the incident, but they believe it might have something to do with an earlier crash.
The three men reportedly started talking about something before walking away.
According to the police, the men were looking for a gun that they lost after the crash. Tiffany said that the three men were demanding that she give them the gun, which was recovered by the police.
She said that they were just like, “We know you have it, so let’s get it back.”
Tiffany said that the frightening incident has left her traumatized.
She also said that her baby was unharmed. Despite the ordeal, her toddler was able to sleep through it. She added that her son was just chilling during the whole ordeal.
On Wednesday, the police searched the area for more evidence.
They are also asking for anyone who may have seen the incident on either October 31 or November 1. They are also hoping that people may have dashcam footage or relevant CCTV footage.
