In a post on Reddit, a worker from a local Bunnings warehouse called out dog owners for bringing their pets to the stores, which they said were unsanitary.
The employee said they were sick of the mess the animals made, and they wanted the owners to stop bringing their pets inside.
In response, the user who posted the message said that they don’t get paid enough to clean up after their dogs. They also asked the owners to stop bringing their pets into the store.
If you can’t train your dog to not urinate in public, or you don’t care about carrying bags of poop, then don’t bring them inside the store.
One of the team members of the company said that it was a serious issue, and they suggested that the owners take their pets on a bush walk to provide them with some exercise.
Another employee noted that it was common for dogs to lift their legs as they enter the store.
The employee said that the owners would either ignore or pretend that they didn’t notice when the animals lifted their legs.
The employee said that even though the owners were cocking their legs in an attempt to mark the territory, nothing came out. The s**t behavior continued, making the employee nervous.
The post, which was shared by a worker from a local warehouse, went viral after it was posted on Reddit. Many people were disgusted by the owners’ behavior.
One user said that he was ready to get cussed out after reading the post, as he was a huge fan of the animals in the store. However, after reading it, he was disgusted by the description.
According to the company’s policy, dogs are allowed in the store, but they must be secured in a vehicle, have a muzzle, and be on a lead. All assistance animals are also welcome.
Reddit users noted that they allow dogs to be carried in trolleys.
One user said that he brought his dog to the store multiple times, and whenever he saw a dog, the person at the entrance would ask the owner to put their pet in a trolley.
“Every dog in the store has been on a trolley,” the user said.
