Almost two years ago, radio personality Chrissie Swan gave up alcohol in order to be healthier. She has since become more active and developed other healthy habits.
Swan, who was a Big Brother competitor in the past, said she decided to give up alcohol as a way to relieve her anxiety.
In her Instagram stories, Swan noted that she has received messages asking if she has ever gotten back into drinking.
To answer the question, she said that she has not had a drink in over 600 days. To track her progress, she used an app called Sober Time.
She continues to share positive messages about her alcohol-free lifestyle. In an Instagram post last year, she talked about how she felt after having a night of drinking without her partner.
She noted that she had a score of 10 out of a possible 100 when it came to accomplishing activities without alcohol.
In her post, Swan said that she has been able to wake up each morning feeling fresh and that she has her voice back.
She also noted that her alcohol-free lifestyle has helped improve her sleep quality. In addition, she made various lifestyle changes during the pandemic.
During the pandemic, she and her friends were not allowed to go to a friend’s house or go outside.
In an interview with The Women’s Weekly, she said that she took advantage of the opportunity to walk.
