The man who was killed in a dog attack south of Brisbane on Saturday has been identified as Kane Minion, 42.
He was attacked while he was trying to read a meter at a house on Ison Road in the Greenbank area.
He was found inside the property’s fenced yard, and he died at the scene.
It’s not clear if he was attacked after he entered the property or when he left. The police found three dogs inside the house, which had a long driveway.
Two of them were impounded by the local council, while the older dog was left behind. The property had a sign warning that dogs should be on guard.
The owners of the dogs were not home at the time of the attack.
A number of tributes have been posted on social media for the 42-year-old, with one of his friends paying tribute to him by saying that he was a hard-working individual who was just trying to do his job.
Another person stated that the victim was just trying to do his job.
The two dogs were impounded as the police investigate the incident.
At the scene, Acting Inspector Gary Worrell confirmed that the victim was from Marsden.
He was a meter reader for Skilltech, a subsidiary of the Downer Group.
