Emergency services were called to Woy Woy, on the NSW Central Coast, at 6.15 pm on Saturday after a man was found with a stab wound to his neck.
However, he died at the scene. According to police, they initially tried to perform CPR on the man before paramedics arrived.
It’s believed that the man was stabbed on Railway Street.
The police have established crime scenes in the area to carry out forensic examinations. A
ccording to the Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of only 11,072 in 2021.
