Steve Price, the host of The Project, announced on Friday that his radio show will not be returning in 2023.
He said that the decision to end his show was due to a lack of interest in the project. The Australia Today show was part of Southern Cross Media, and it was broadcasted on Triple M.
In a column published by the Herald Sun, Steve Price said that it had been a roller coaster ride for him.
In his column, Price said that he decided to end his show after 35 years due to the lack of interest in the project.
He also noted that 2022 and 2021 were some of his most memorable years on the radio. He referred to his time on the radio as a roller coaster ride.
He also noted that he had enjoyed his time on the radio, and he referred to the time he was removed from the 2UE breakfast show in 2004.
His announcement came after several of his co-hosts decided to leave the program.
Several of the show’s co-hosts, including Lisa Wilkinson, Peter Helliar, and Carrie Bickmore, have already left the program.
Sarah Harris, who is the host of Studio 10, will replace Carrie next year. Waleed Aly will continue to be a part of the program.
