A healthy mother of two suddenly died a week before Christmas after she went to the hospital with what appeared to be a headache.
She later died of metastatic melanoma, which was found in her lungs, breast, kidney, and spine.
Elizabeth Kelly, who was known as Liz, was 39 years old when she died.
She started treatment last week in the hopes of a miracle after experiencing what she thought was a headache.
However, after two days, she was rushed to the hospital and later died.
The cancer had spread to her bones, lymphatic system, and brain.
Her husband, Andrew, and their children, five-year-old twins, Scarlett and Fletcher, were left with a dreadful chapter in their lives.
A close friend of the family, Russell Spear, established a Go Fund Me page for the family.
He said that the goal of the campaign is to help the family overcome their financial hardships.
