Details of the horrific crash that claimed the lives of a young family have emerged following a Christmas Day incident in Western Australia.
The family, which included Jake Day, his wife, Cindy Braddock, and their four children, had not been seen since leaving their home in the town of Northam, which is around 100 kilometers east of Perth.
Before going to spend Christmas with his mother, Mr Day and his family left their home in the town of Northam and traveled to Kondinin, which is around 200 kilometers away.
According to Michael Read, a relative of Mr Day, the family decided to leave early to allow Jack to spend Christmas with his mother.
However, on Tuesday evening, the police confirmed that the Land Rover that the family was driving had been found.
Mr Read, who is suffering from a broken heart, said that he is trying to cope with the loss of his cousin and his close friend.
Both Mr Day and Ms Braddock were found dead inside the Land Rover.
Two of their children, a two-year old boy and a five-year old girl, were found outside the car when the accident occurred.
