In an emotional post on Instagram, Sir Rod Stewart talked about his brothers who died within months of each other.
He said goodbye to his brother Bob, who passed away in November last year.
The legendary singer noted that his brother’s coffin was adorned with the Glasgow Rangers flag.
He noted that they would often spend time together in Scotland, and he said goodbye to his brother after he passed away.
His eldest brother, Don, also died around the same time that Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September 2022.
In a post at that time, Stewart wrote that it had been a devastating 48 hours. He included an illustration of the monarch’s crown.
He is regarded as one of the most prominent artists in the Billboard charts. In 2016, the Queen gave him a Knight Bachelor award.
His five siblings, including his two surviving sisters Peggy and Mary, contributed to his success.
He also spoke about their support during his sister Mary’s 90th birthday celebrations.
According to The Sun, which reported from his 2019 birthday celebrations, he praised his brothers for helping him get into music.
He also noted that they supported him during various occasions, such as washing his underpants.
