An 11-year-old Australian boy named Bayles was supported by celebrities, such as Cardi B and Hugh Jackman, after his mother posted a video of him saying that he wanted to kill himself due to the bullying he had experienced.
He has since been cast in George Miller’s Mad Max:Fury Road, which is a prequel to his 2015 film.
In the movie, which is scheduled to release in May 2024, Quaden will be joined by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and American actress Taylor-Joy.
He posted a message on Instagram on Monday, where he said he was excited to watch the film.
Bayles was born with an achondroplasia, a condition that usually affects a normal-sized torso and short limbs.
The video, which was live-streamed on YouTube, showed Bayles crying as he sat in the back of his mother’s car.
In the video, his mother stated that bullying was what caused him to want to kill himself.
