Several children were injured after a car crashed into a holiday park on the Central Coast of New South Wales on Saturday.
Emergency services were first called to the Toowoon Bay holiday park at around 11.35 am following reports of a single vehicle crash.
When officers arrived, they were told that a Mini Cooper, which was driven by a 76 year old woman, had crashed into the building’s verandah.
The driver, who is assisting the police with their inquiries, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said that a nine-year-old boy was flown to Westmead Children’s Hospital with possible pelvic and leg injuries.
A second boy was also taken to the same facility.
Two young girls were then taken to John Hunter Hospital.
