In Melbourne, hundreds of people flocked to a Myer store in the city to see what’s left of the retailer’s stock before it shuts its doors for good.
The store started its final sale before its branch in the suburb of Frankston closed on Sunday.
In August last year, John King, the company’s CEO, announced that the store would close and that the company would focus its efforts on other nearby locations.
The staff members of the branch would then be transferred to other Myer stores.
