Channel 10’s presenter Carrie Bickmore, announced that she and her husband, Chris Walker, have decided to separate.
She made the announcement on her Instagram stories. She did not provide further details about the couple’s decision.
While this is a difficult time for both of us, we are focused on raising our three children and maintaining our love for each other.
We will not be making any further statements at this time.
Walker is Bickmore’s second husband, and they met two years after Greg Lange died from brain cancer.
Before Bickmore and Lange’s son, Oliver, had their second child, Walker was the stepfather to the former.
In 2020, Bickmore opened up about how Walker supported her during her difficult time following Lange’s death.
She also praised his compassion and said that he would always be there for her and their family.
Bickmore and Lange married when she was 25 years old. Five years later, Lange died due to brain cancer.
In 2015, Bickmore established her own charity, Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer.
During her speech at the Gold Logies, she noted that her late husband had inspired her to start the organization.
