Peter Maddison, the host of the Grand Design Australia, has called for the show The Block to be banned from television.
According to the Herald Sun, Maddison called the program “absolute bloody nonsense” during an interview.
According to Maddison, the program encourages people to have unrealistic aspirations about becoming a builder, designer, or project manager.
It shows a negative image of building and the responsibilities involved in it.
He claims that the program makes it look easy, and he compared it to Grand Design, which is a show that is filmed over a period of several months and can be streamed on Binge.
Maddison’s comments come after The Block, which is currently in its 12th season, attempted to reinvent itself in 2022 by going to Gisborne in Victoria for a tree change.
The auction day of The Block was a disaster, with many of the house’s favorites failing to make a profit.
The winning team of Omar and Oz were able to earn a record $1.6 million.
Danny, a multi-millionaire, bought all of the homes that were auctioned off.
He also didn’t buy the houses that were built by Ankur and Dylan.
Surprised by the results of the auction, Ankur and Sharon’s house was purchased by Adrian Portelli, who had previously tried to buy the home of Omar and Oz.
