A man from Queensland has been charged with multiple offences, including torture and grievous bodily harm, after a 5-year-old boy suffered critical injuries on January 21 at a property at Wishart.
Emergency services were then called to the address to attend to the boy.
He was then taken to the hospital.
When they arrived, they found two other children, an 8-year-old boy and a six-year old girl, inside the garage.
They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
A 29-year-old man was then arrested.
It is believed that the children suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The address where the incident occurred was declared a crime scene.
He was charged with various domestic violence-related offences.
These include seven counts of assault with intent to cause bodily harm and three counts of torture.
He was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
