During his speech, Angle paid tribute to Hogan, who he referred to as the face of professional wrestling.
He noted that if WWE were to hold an event during the 30th anniversary of its flagship show, which is known as Raw, then the event would be held under the Hogan name.
Despite his various health issues, Angle praised Hogan, saying that he was the one who “revolutionized the industry.”
He hasn’t responded to Angle’s claims yet. In 2020, the 69-year-old posted photos of himself going through an MRI.
He has had numerous back operations, both before and after he retired from WWE.
Known for his numerous health issues, including back, hip, knee, and spine injuries, Hogan has been referred to as one of the best professional wrestling performers of all time.
In 2021, his daughter Brooke revealed that her dad had undergone over 20 medical procedures in the last 10 years.
Hogan had his shoulders scoped, and he also had his entire arm and shoulder tied up last year.
In 2008, he was named the most popular wrestler in the world. He had previously stated that he wanted to return to the WWE.
