An infuriated couple reportedly refused to buy a ticket for their infant at an airport in Israel, leaving the child behind as they rushed to catch their flight.
The parents, who are both Belgian nationals, were then apprehended by the police.
According to a report in The Jerusalem Post, the couple was supposed to bring their baby along with them on a flight to Brussels.
However, after arriving at the airport late, they didn’t have the ticket for the child. They then reportedly left the baby behind in their stroller.
The airport staff immediately informed the security and police after they noticed the parents leaving the baby behind.
According to the manager of the airport’s Ryanair desk, they were in shock and couldn’t believe what they saw.
The parents reportedly arrived at the airport late after the check-in counter closed.
They then decided to go through security without bringing the child with them.
