Chris Brown, a prominent Australian television personality, is reportedly leaving the Ten Network to work for the rival Seven Network.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Brown, who has been with the network for 15 years, will leave on July 1. He will then co-host the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!.
According to News.com.au, Brown will reportedly be signing a two-year contract with the Seven Network, which is worth around $1 million annually.

Before the news about his departure broke, Brown was seen at the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney.
While he was on the phone, Brown was reportedly talking with his head in his hands.
In a statement released by the Seven Network, Brown said that he was excited to be returning to the company where he started his career.
He also noted that he was not sure how his old access pass would work once he got back to Australia. However, he said that he was looking forward to starting new projects with the network.
He started his career at the Seven Network, where he worked as a vet on Harry’s Practice.
After moving to the Nine Network, he became a presenter for Burke’s Backyard. In 2008, he became the star of the show, and he also became a regular on The Project.

In 2021, he joined Ten’s The Dog House Australia as the narrator. However, after several years, the network decided to stop the weekly lifestyle show, The Living Room.
Brown and his colleagues on The Living Room expressed their disappointment with the decision.
The news about Brown’s departure comes after another prominent member of the network, long-time The Project host, Carrie Bickmore, announced her departure from the show in December.
A spokesperson for Ten noted that Brown has provided the Australian public with a warm and caring personality. He is still with the network at the moment.
He has provided the Australian public with a wide range of uplifting and inspirational stories, which he has showcased on The Living Room, as well as I’m A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!, which will be returning in April.
James Warburton, the Seven West Media boss, noted that the network is excited to have Brown on board and to announce new projects.
