In NSW, a fisherman made a costly mistake when he accidentally filled up his rod holder with petrol instead of the tank.
In a video posted to the Fishing Sydney page, several people were filmed hosing down around a boat that was parked at a convenience store in West Pennant Hills.
In the video, the man who is behind the camera warns his companions not to make the same mistake again.
As he pans to the fuel gauge, he notices that the amount of fuel that’s wasted is almost $536 worth.
He then zooms in on the rod holder, which is located on the side of the boat.
The video shows the liquid pouring from the boat’s back steps.
@msill23 Whoops! 😬
As the bystanders shout for help, some of them refer to the act as stupid.
Others noted that they made the same mistake a couple of times.
One of the viewers commented on the video and said that the mistake was very expensive.
Some of the viewers noted that the amount of fuel that was wasted was only a couple of liters.
Despite the firefighters’ presence, some of them still criticized the people who made the mistake.
