Paris Taylor, a 21-year-old traffic controller from Queensland, revealed in a TikTok clip that she made around $3,400 a week after working for five days at a worksite.
She said she worked for about 47.5 hours over the course of the week.
According to Paris Taylor, who is a traffic controller, she makes around $680 a week.
She noted that she worked 9.5 hours on Monday and earned $680, while she worked 8.5 hours on Tuesday and Friday, which earned her $1160 each day.
The longest shifts she worked were on Wednesday and Thursday, which she said lasted for 10.5 hours each.
She stated that her salary is due to an agreement between her union and her employer.
This type of collective bargaining agreement is a negotiation between workers and their employers that sets the terms of an employee’s employment.
According to Paris, construction sites only pay half of her salary, and last week she made a total of $3400.
Despite her high earnings, she claims that she gets taxed over a thousand dollars.

She noted that she currently works every day because her site requires traffic controllers.
