In a post on Instagram, Bindi Irwin, 24, revealed that she has been struggling with endometriosis for the past 10 years.
She said that after going through surgery, she was finally diagnosed with the condition.
She also shared several painful and nauseating experiences during her time with the condition.
She said that she tried to hide the pain by maintaining a positive attitude, but eventually gave up on her attempts to function properly with the condition.
Irwin noted that she decided to have surgery after a friend suggested that she should try to regain her life.
She admitted that going through the surgery was frightening, but she knew that she could no longer live like the person she was.
According to Irwin, the doctors at the Seckin Endometriosis Centre told her that they found 37 lesions and a chocolate cyst.
The first words that the doctors said to her were “How did you live with this pain?”.
