In their new single, Sam Smith says that he’s not here to make friends. But, after a look at their country home in Buckinghamshire, we’d like to be theirs.
The Unholy singer recently caused a bit of controversy by releasing a video for their upcoming track that featured explicit content.
The clip was shot at the Ashridge House, which is a luxurious property located in Hertfordshire.
While he was filming the video, Sam was able to unwind in the Fat Fairy, which was a renovated barn on the property.
Although he’s been sober since 2018, he can still enjoy a drink in the bar, which features a crystal chandelier. They can also hang out with the life-sized Ewok statue, or even play pool.
Besides being able to enjoy a luxurious bar, the property also has a recording studio.
If the inspiration for their song hits them, they can head over to this facility, which is situated in a different part of the property. There, they can enjoy a grand piano and various palm tree statues.
The property’s grounds are the ideal place to unwind, with its country cottage aesthetic and wood-panelled main house.
This isn’t Sam’s main home, as he purchased a property in nearby Hampstead in 2019.
According to Sam, he and his partner have been investing in properties to make the most of their earnings, and during a recent interview with Billboard, they said that they prefer to unwind in the countryside after a busy week in London, noting that they’ve been spat at because of who they are.
Despite their various achievements, Sam and his partner are still known for being their authentic selves.
They’ll be showing off their true colors when they perform at the BRIT Awards this week.
