A community in Queensland is in mourning after a teenage girl died following a car crash this week.
Illiiana Palella, 18, was an employee of Woolworths and was killed when a car and an armoured vehicle collided near Childers, which is about 300 kilometers from Brisbane.
She was then taken to a hospital but later died.
A GoFundMe page was established to support the family of Illiiana, who was described as a vibrant young woman who was known for her smile
. According to Mackenzie Blackburn, she was supported by her family, who were always there for her during difficult times.
Illiiana’s tragic accident deeply affected her family, as she was loved by them so much.
Ms Blackburn stated that the funds raised would allow her relatives to bring her home.
She also noted that the donations would help cover the costs of her funeral.
She was a colleague of Illiiana’s at the Hinkler Woolworths Centre in Bundaberg.
The company noted that it would be providing support services to the people close to the deceased teen.
It was reported that Illiiana was on her way home after attending a social engagement when the accident occurred.
Jaime Shipp, who was Illiiana’s friend, paid tribute to the teenager on social media. She stated that she would miss her greatly.
Another person described her as a kind and caring individual who was always there for her.
