In a statement, Celine Dion said that she was canceling her upcoming tour dates due to a serious illness.
The 55-year-old Canadian singer revealed that she was recently diagnosed with a neurological disorder that causes her to have muscle spasms.
The condition forced her to put off some of her performances.
In an Instagram post, she said that she was sorry to inform her fans that she was canceling her upcoming shows.
She noted that she was working hard to regain her strength and that touring can be very taxing even if she’s at her best.
It’s not fair to keep postponing her shows.
Even though it’s heartbreaking, it’s the best thing for me to just cancel all of my shows so that I can get back on stage and be ready to perform.
The European leg of her tour, which started in August and ended in October, included 42 performances in seven cities.
She promised that all her fans will receive refunds for the tickets purchased.
