The game show, which is hosted by Larry Emdur and airs on Seven, has consistently been able to attract more viewers than its rival program, The Hot Seat, which is on Channel Nine.
In 2022, it won 40 weeks with an average audience of 829,000 viewers.
On Tuesday, The Chase was able to attract more viewers than The Hot Seat, which was on Channel Nine.
It also pipped other prime time programs such as MasterChef Australia, which was on Ten, and ABC’s 7.30 Report, which had 438,000 viewers.
The Summit, which is a new reality show by Nine, had 395,000 viewers.
In addition, The Chase had more viewers than The Project, which was at 7pm.
Other programs that were ahead of the game show on Tuesday were Seven and Nine’s early evening news programs, A Current Affair and Seven and Ten’s local news bulletins.
Emdur took to Instagram after the game show won to celebrate its victory. He replaced Andrew O’Keefe in 2021.

The success of The Chase over the “big guns” wasn’t a one-off.
On Thursday night, it was able to attract 543,000 viewers, beating programs such as Home and Away, which had 451,000, and the Nine Network’s rugby league coverage, which had 338,000 viewers.
In March, the network denied rumors that The Hot Seat was on its way out.
