A new trend called Bare Minimum Monday is taking over the traditional Sunday Scaries.
It encourages employees to start their week with a gentle tone and work from home.
This concept works by allowing staff to take their own breaks and focus on doing the minimal amount of work that they need.
Instead of setting meetings and having strict deadlines, she said that Bare Minimum Monday allows employees to take their own time to relax and do whatever they need.
“It allows them to do whatever they want to do, and it also eliminates the need for them to work late,” she said.
According to Adelaide marketing manager Caitlin Winter, if you could be flexible during the pandemic, working from home would work just as well for you.
She also stated that it doesn’t have to necessarily be a Monday, as it can be any day that works best for individuals.
