A woman from Perth, was shocked when she gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
She told news.com.au that she and her partner Justin were not aware that she was pregnant until the day of her birth.
The woman, who is 34 years old, said she was surprised by her pregnancy.
She noted that during the past nine months, she felt bloated and stopped her periods.
She also noticed that her ankles would swell randomly.
She attributed her unusual movements in her stomach to her body rejecting the food that she was consuming.
She initially thought that her bloated figure was due to a weight gain.
She then assumed that she was going through menopause. She said she had no idea what was going on in her body.
She said she was completely unaware of what was happening to her.
On the day of her birth, she experienced severe abdominal pain, which she said started at around 2 am and worsened by 4 am.
She then called emergency services, who heard her screams before entering her house.
After an assessment, Mel Gardiner, a paramedic for St. John Ambulance, informed Wilson that she was expecting a child.
At first, Wilson was in complete denial. At around 5.26 am on May 6, she delivered a healthy baby girl named Marley Rae.
After she gave birth, the new mum said that she was experiencing a few days of processing.
She noted that although it took her a while to get used to being a new mother, she is now feeling like she is fully embraced her new role.
Her family and friends also rallied around her and her partner. They provided them with a changing table, a baby bassinet, and other newborn necessities.
While she and her child were in the hospital, her family came together and provided them with everything they needed.
