A woman reportedly fell about 50 meters from the top of a lookout on NSW’s south coast on Monday.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at Buangla, near the McKenzie’s Saddle walking track, shortly before noon.
The Toll Helicopter and police rescue were then dispatched.
The body of a female individual was later recovered beneath the lookout.
The body of the woman was retrieved by police rescuers.
Officers were also preparing a report for the coroner
. The walking track and lookout at McKenzie, which is located inland from Nowra,
is a lesser-known trail that offers panoramic views of the Yalwal State Forest.
