Taylor Rockliffe, 26, from NSW’s Central Coast, was an absolute legend. He was reportedly a great bloke who loved football and his family.
He was found dead in his Bali hotel room earlier this week while on a boys trip. His family and friends are trying to bring him home.
It’s believed that Rockliffe died in his hotel room, and that his friend found him dead. The exact cause of his death has not been released.
A witness staying at the hotel where the group was staying said the scene following his death was chaotic.
According to the Daily Mail, the boys were reportedly lost and confused by the police presence in the area.
The woman, who was staying at the hotel where the incident occurred, said that it had been difficult to watch because it happened so fast.
It’s believed that Rockliff was supposed to meet up with his friend Travis Brayden at around 8:30 am on the morning of his death.
However, when he didn’t show up, his friend grew concerned and asked the staff at the Grand Sinar Inn to take him to his room. They found his door unlocked.
A spokesperson for the Denpasar Police said that Brayden tried to wake up Rockliff, but he didn’t wake up.
He then called the hotel’s medical team, and they then pronounced him dead. According to Sukadi, there were no signs of a struggle or violence in the room.
Since he was supposed to leave the resort the day of his death, Rockcliffe created an Instagram page with his friends called “Three Pigs Roaming,” where they talked about their drinking escapades in NSW.
The group recently posted a picture from Denpasar, captioned “Pigs can fly.”
In another post, the group talked about their favorite beach bar in Bali and how it doesn’t serve alcohol.
If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by the Beach Bum bar.
Due to the tragic incident, Rockcliffe’s family have set up a fundraising page that they can use to help with funeral expenses.
