The family of a Perth teen is devastated by the sudden death of their son, Liam Grant. According to his mother, Kelly, time stopped on January 19. The 16-year-old army officer had just gotten his first car and was planning on having fun with ‘things ahead.’
After fully understanding the term, Kelly said that they are now feeling overwhelmed by the grief. She also stated that they will never stop saying how much they love Liam. Everyone in the family is so proud of him.
Liam was described as the family’s “perfect son.” On January 1, he posted a message on his Instagram page, thanking his friends for supporting him throughout his journey. He also stated that not everyone helps him, but everyone who helps him is his friend.
‘I’m very thankful to everyone that’s helped me but here’s a quote, not everyone that helps you is your friend and not everyone that is mean to you is your enemy.’
A Go Fund Me campaign was established to help the Grant family. Since the start of the campaign, donations have exceeded $19,000.
