When 19-year-old Ryli Johnson went out with her boyfriend in Townsville, she didn’t expect to become an internet sensation.
Her striking photo with her boyfriend, Tyreice Baira Gela, at The Bank Nightclub caught people’s attention.
The photos posted on the Facebook page of the nightclub caught people’s attention. They were shocked by the young woman’s stunning appearance.
One person called her the “very definition of beauty,” while another said she should be signed up for modeling.
Some have even called Johnson the most beautiful woman in Australia.
On Monday, she appeared on Sunrise with hosts Matt Shirvington and Nat Barr to talk about her newfound fame.
She said her mum came into her room and told her that her Facebook page had over 2000 likes. She said she was shocked by the amount of people who had commented on her photo, but she was thankful to receive such an overwhelming response.
Johnson grew up in the small town of Moree in NSW, and her relatives and friends have suggested that she pursue a career in modeling. However, she had never seriously considered it until recently.
Johnson said that since the photo went viral, she has been approached by various modeling agencies. She also said that she would like to work for Qantas.
She admitted that she had always wanted to be a model, and she was excited to participate in New York and Paris fashion shows.
Johnson said that her relatives were very grateful for the opportunity to share in her success. They were reportedly crying upon seeing the article about her photo going viral.
