A global IT issue has caused McDonald’s to temporarily stop serving food in many locations.

Its fans are complaining on social media about the delays in getting their orders processed.

Some of the company’s branches have also reportedly turned away customers.

McDonald’s appeared to be affected in various countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Japan.

Although some of its restaurants were closed, some of its outlets were still open.

In Japan, the company confirmed that a system failure was affecting its services.

It also apologized for the inconvenience caused by the issue and asked customers to wait for the service to be restored.

According to a website known as Downdetector, the problems with the app started at around 5:20 am local time.

Many customers were disappointed because they could not get their breakfast.

In Australia, the company contacted its customers to tell them that it was aware of the issue and was working on it quickly.
